All PS116 parents are members of the PTA!
The PTA of PS116 helps strengthen our school community and supports Team116 in creating a learning environment where our students can thrive. The PTA:

Funds enrichment programs for every student (including Studio in a School with Mr. Paul, National Dance Institute, Center for Architecture, & Meet the Writers visits),

Purchases all classroom supplies

Pays for our daily Recess Assistants

Hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year to bring joy and a sense of belonging to our community.

Raises money from our community and local businesses to support the above as well as school beautification projects, professional development and training for teachers, and other school needs
The PTA does not exist without the involvement of our families. We are seeking enthusiastic and engaged individuals–parents, guardians, grandparents!–to join our PTA Executive Board for the 2025-2026 school year.
